The Color of Money

Visual Identity \ Photography Direction

For generations, the Black community has confronted obstacles in the pursuit of building wealth. Presently, disparities in net worth and homeownership stand as some of the most conspicuous indicators of racial inequality in the United States. It is now time to forge a new legacy. The "Color of Money" podcast delivers compelling and perspective-altering episodes focused on the accumulation of wealth within Black and historically marginalized communities.

My goal was to craft a visual identity and logo that embodies the ideals of wealth, expansion, and progress, while placing a strong emphasis on rebellion and diversity—capturing a bold, progressive, and unique representation of the black community.

The logo's sleek, contemporary design and elongated letterforms make a striking statement about innovation and growth. The disruptive shape of the extended letters not only demands attention but also symbolizes a readiness to challenge norms and embrace new ideas.
