Family Reunion ‘22: Orlando Magic, recognizes the chaos of the pandemic and the challenges folks have faced but celebrates emerging from the other side energized and excited by the opportunities the altered landscape now presents. Folks are ready to connect, collaborate, ready to get to work and change the world – and Family Reunion is the perfect opportunity to do so. It’s a place to celebrate,
to collaborate, to innovate. The show look is designed to reflect this celebratory sentiment. To capture this feeling of release and amplify the themes of positivity, inspiration, and innovation. It’s bright, bold, warm, and happy, yet provocative, modern and a notable departure from what has preceded. It signals change and makes a statement. This is KW sticking a flag in the sand and saying “Yes we’ve changed. Here’s how, and here’s why it’s awesome. It’s starting now, here in Orlando. Come be a part of it.”

My contribution was to conceptualize and lead the design of the show’s look, including screens and signage. In collaboration with a team of senior art directors and graphic designers (Adam Dudd, Karla Teceno, Joseph Rodrigues, and Owen Gibs) we were able to refine and deliver
a very energetic and fun visual identity.
